Our Purpose

We are committed to the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 28.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. -- Matt 28:18-20

The preaching of the Gospel and the teaching of the Word have been, and will be, our foremost objectives.

We believe the people at ECBC have an important role to play in North America. In the words of G K. Chesterton, we at ECBC "do not want to be a church that will move with the world. We want to be a church that will move the world!"

We praise God for pouring His blessings and goodness on us. We are amazed at what He is doing in our midst and through the church. The Apostle Paul said we are the ones who plant and water. but it is God who transforms lives and brings growth. Therefore, we want to give God the honor, the praise and the glory!
