Life Through Christ – Alex Wong

I was born in British Columbia in a family of four. My family has been going to church since before I was born. My parents have been talking to me about Christ since I was young. When my parents took me to church for the first time, I was really shy in Sunday school. I was possessive in preschool as well, fighting over miniature toys once in a while. I have also tried to get good grades in school, and my parents have told me to try my best.

When my parents sent me to Vacation Bible School, a pastor discussed with me about the Lord’s gift to humanity. He has said to me that God loves me, but our sins have separated us from Him. Like in the Bible, God has sent Jesus into the world, to spread the good news about God. He has also died on the cross to save me from my sins and purify me from all unrighteousness. He means to give the gift of eternal life to me, and for me to live my life through Jesus Christ. He also told me that whenever you are dealing with conflict, pray and think about Christ, and ask for his guidance. I have been thinking about this, and have decided to commit and devote myself to Christ.

Now, to this day, I have been confident of this decision and most of my questions have been answered. I will continue to commit myself and live my life for Jesus Christ. I have grown and have been through a lot, spiritually and physically, but the greatest benefit of all is that I know that I have eternal life.
