Missions
We are the Light to the Nations
Without vision, nothing will come into existence. ECBC was founded by a group of men and women with vision, they saw with eyes of faith the amazing work God could do in the Chinese community in Vancouver. However, vision without action remains no more than a dream. Over the years through the prayers, sacrifice, faith, and most of all, the hard work of many members, the mother church in Burnaby has grown and three other branch churches have been planted reaching out to the Chinese in the Lower Mainland.
At the heart of ECBC's life is outreach and missions. Everyone has a part to play in this exciting work of extending God's kingdom beyond the confines of the church and the shores of Canada. We need men and women of vision and faith, people ready to go to bring the gospel to the unsaved. We need you to pray for our missionaries and our outreach efforts that God will bless us with bountiful harvests.

David Livingstone finally gave his life and died in the jungles of Africa because of his love for God and a passion to bring the gospel to the Africans. His example and that of other missionaries challenge us. If we love God, what then are we doing to advance the interests of His Kingdom?
