Jacob's Testimony

Being in the UK this past summer gave me my very enjoyable, first opportunity to teach youths about God and help them understand His plan for us; as well, I worked with young children ranging from ages 4 to 12 in a kidz camp based on the story of Joseph and inputted my comments and critiques to the team of leaders organizing and running the day camp. Building relations and memories with the team from Canada and the UK, however, remains my favourite part of the trip.

Sowing – Watering – Sprouting – Growing – Blooming – Seeding – Sowing... by the grace of God, the cycle continues.

If I had to describe my experience of my first time returning to UK after 3 years, this would sum it up. This cycle describes more than merely the physical stages, but more importantly, it is a reflection of the work of the Holy Spirit in the local churches. From the birth of wee Joseph to the Eyan’s sudden growth spurt; from sending a STM team to Reading to serve the children, to seeing them send a team to support the Kids camp in Croydon; I find these to be testimonies of God’s faithfulness and incomprehensible love for His people.
