Full-time English Youth Director

The mission of ECBC is to: “Exalt Christ, Proclaim Christ, and Equip the Body of Christ”

We are passionate about reaching the young people with the Gospel and to empower them for ministries in the Kingdom of Christ. We are seeking a full time English Youth Director who has a passion and pastoral calling work with youth and to reach this generation for Christ. This position will also require the individual to work as part of a pastoral team with other pastors and church staff in fulfilling various other pastoral duties as well as oversight of other ministries.

Our youth consists of 2 fellowships – Junior Youth Lighthouse (for junior highs), and Senior Youth Lighthouse (for senior highs).

The youth director will:

1. Work with both Junior Young Lighthouse and Senior Youth Lighthouse leaders in planning, overseeing, teaching, mentoring, discipling and empowering leaders.

2. Plan and organize special events such as camps, retreats, and conferences for youth.

3. Visit with young people and facilitate communication between cultures and generations.

4. Develop and implement short and long terms goals for youth ministry in harmony with the overall vision of the church.

5. Ensure continuity between various youth ministries.

6. Recruit and support volunteer youth workers

7. Participate and serve in various church programs and ministries as the needs arise.
