What causes screeching feedback and why do people mime on stage?

Without having to look up into the balcony with confusion and curiosity, we, the Sound & Lighting Ministry take full responsibility for these occurrences. Except for the aforementioned activities you’d probably never notice us because we work behind-the-scenes of every worship service, and special event (i.e. weddings, musical theatre productions, etc.)

Aside from punching buttons, flipping switches, pushing levers, and wearing earmuff headphones, we also bear spiritual fruit. We experience:

• the joys of the set-up and tear-down of every event;
• the patience and gentleness when working faithfully with the multimedia & video crew and the worship team;
• the kindness and love whilst learning from fellow technicians;
• the peace and self-control while operating machinery; and
• the goodness of growing with the Holy Spirit.
