Worship Team

The goal of the worship team is to usher the congregation into God's presence during the worship service. We do this through songs, hymns, prayer and exhortation. Our desire is that the Holy Spirit will move in our midst and touch every individual's heart throughout the worship service.

Furthermore, praise and worship prepares the people's hearts to receive the Word of God. Then after the pastor's message, we usually lead the congregation into a response time to internalize what was just preached.

The worship team also serves the congregation by training individuals to lead worship in their respective fellowships and ministries. If you are starting to lead worship in your small group fellowship or Bible study, or if you desire to be more effective in this ministry, please come talk to us -- we'd love to work with you and share our experiences with you. And we will most likely learn something from you as well!
